Birkdale Reunion Association Committee Announcement:

The Committee is pleased to announce that Tony Wright and Sue Tinsley have both accepted our invitation to sit on the Committee as full members thus taking the total of Committee members to 5.

i ve got the tickets for the reunion and hopefully be there in october, it be good to see old school friends and keep in touch with one or two of them

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to say that the Beach reunion last Sunday was an enjoyable event and it was good to see a few of my former colleagues attending for a good old chinwag!! (Not forgetting some former Birkdale pupils who went on to Mary Hare Grammer School!)

I would also like to mention a big thankyou to those who thought up the idea of this different type of get together. I hope that this event will be continued each summer and more of us will turn out to support it.

Looking forward now to the Reunion in October and hope to see many of you there! (PS Tony, any news on the future of the School building?)

Having had a number of ticket orders from people attending the beach bar b q I have arranged with Bill Lamont and Steven Brayshaw to provide me with more tickets. As already stated in my last posting, tickets are £15 each.

hello! I went to Parkfield in 1988 and then attended Birkdale School from 1989 until 1991. My classmates were Joanna, Nicola, Claire, Christopher, Craig, Richard, and Christina. Sadly I don't know their last names. Our first teacher was Mrs. Dainsthwaite (sp?) and then we had Ms. Martin at Birkdale.

I hope you guys are well. I think about you guys sometimes and I always wonder what you are all up to these days.

I'm over here in the States and working in theatre and film.

I miss Southport and I'm sad to see the school is now in ruins.
