Birkdale Reunion Association Committee held a meeting tonight.I have given the tickets to Steven Brayshaw who will be sending them out this week to those who have already ordered.

Steven reports a steady number of requests for tickets coming in weekly.

Ohhh yeah Scarisbrick Hotel! I caught the most hideous stomach bug there when I stopped whilst doing my video of Birkdale in December 2007. Funny old place, I like the gym!

As I mentioned in my posting of the Committee Meeting, these are the details for the hotel:

* Price of a double or twin room and breakfast is £104.
* Price of a single occupancy room and breakfast is £68.

This represents good value because the normal rate varies from £130 to £150. The room facilities include en-suite facilities, wireless internet, (some are hard wired), hospitality tray, trouser press, iron and hairdryer, satellite TV and teletext, phone.
