Hello!
We have had another call from Jack Henderson today to confirm the time that anyone wishing to attend the meeting to do with the School's future at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club on Tuesday 22nd June is in fact between 1pm-7pm Not 7.30 as was previously thought!
Apologies to anyone who may have been mislead.

Hello to all.
Just an update regarding the School:
We have had a phone call from Jack Henderson this morning and he understands that there is a meeting taking place on Tuesday 22nd June at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club at 7.30 for anyone interested in taking part in discussions about the future of the buildings. I presume there will be some information about this in Southport local press or Information centre? Does anyone wish to go? I'm thinking about going myself.

Sue Tinsley is right. There is an advert in Friday's Visiter announcing a public consultation on the restoration & development of our school between 1 & 7pm. There isn't anything online about this as far as I can see.
Jack is confirming with someone who is involved with the Southport & Birkdale Sports Club, and he will let me know tomorrow. I will update the site if it's any different from the advertised time.

*Wanders in*
When did this happen then? May? Crikey.
Oh and hello to Tony and the gang, hope you're well. I'm a bit miffed I didn't notice this had happened - even though I'm now on Facebook. Yeah it's a shame all this, no-ones got the money to do anything about it, then this happens.
That was The Boys Floor, we used to do fire drills at the back of the building down the outdoor staircase. Then theres that dance studio, what a shame. Memories.
Hope you're all well despite this, I'm glad I made that video in 2007 now.
Gutted. (I hope not)

Hello everyone,
My wife Silvia and myself have just spent Spring Bank Holiday weekend visiting Southport (among other things) to see for ourselves the damage that the recent fire has caused to our School and it is probably worse than what appears on photographs issued by the media. I'm no expert but to be realistic I don't think the School will survive the bulldozers when the time comes to what choices will be made.
We saw Jack Henderson and he is doing quite well. Jack was telling us that the replies to his letters of disgust regarding the School have been somewhat poor. (Does anyone care anymore?)
We also visited a couple of friends who live around Southport and learned that Sefton Council are to take legal action against the current owners. So they should, its disgraceful the way in which the School has been left to decay. Apparently Sefton Council served notice on the owners on 2 separate occasions to tidy up and keep the site in good state of repair and both times nothing was done!! It looks like that this time something will be done. If the owners do not comply with the latest order that's been served on them then the Council themselves will take over the site. There is an article in last weekend Southport Visitor about this latest news. Access to this paper can be found on the internet. (Tony could you keep us posted too??)
Take care Stephen and Silvia Granger

I think it too late to do a online complaint forum as the damaged to the school is done but you could have a picture of school as Before and After like the top left corner (Before) and take picture from same place today (After). Send it to the owners and ask them how would they feel if it was their house as if the owners house was not looked after properly.

Hi Judith
I remember you. Do you remember me? My maiden name is Humphreys and I left in 1975. I am going to the reunion in October so hopefully we will see each other.
