hi david,think your dad should get an award for best teaching staff at birkdale ,yes your dad did have the great way of teaching deaf pupils ,like cross country running !! up and down those sandhills towards ainsdale and back, repairing vans,cars(my dad)one off them ,mum and dad are still around playing tennis still (79)!!and of his great subject history,having the lancaster bomber hanging up over his modelling display in corner of classroom,dont know who did built the bomber,stephen was it you!! ??
