Hello I was a housemother I really enjoyed working and having fun as well in the seventies it’s lovely to see you all grown up I’m away for the reunion but will look out for more to come .

I got my tickets for Septembers reunion least Monday, my residential manager is looking for a member of staf from my house to take me, so hopefully I’ll be their on 16th september

I loved my time at Birkdale and have happy memories. I left in 1971.
I would to attend the 75th anniversary reunion next year and look forward to see my old school mates.

I would just like to Thank Tony Wright for organising last nights reunion.
It was great to catch up with everyone.

Hello everyone, just to say how I’m doing,
I’m doing alright at Giles Shirley hall, and back in community vocational studies after the pandemic , I’m glad to be back at work, hope theirs another reunion soon so I can see everyone from birkdale

Hello! I hope everyone is doing okay?
Ive been over to Southport this weekend for a little break!
I always go to the School hoping to see lots of changes and developments taking place, but alas no sign of better times to come. It pains me to see the continued demise of the site and I still have that gut feeling the building will end up being flattened (im sure the owners whoever they are will want this to be the outcome? Has covid played a part in this to the developers advantage?) The local council should have done something about it years ago?
Does anyone else feeling strongly about this situation?
