Hello reunion.
I was schoolboy from 1973 to 1975 and also my younger sister Ceri were be there. It was good education than Alice Elliott School but it was NOT as good for me because I am profoundly deaf. I think I was in this wrong situation but there had as good as friend with schoolmates. Sadly, I have heard the Birkdale School for the Hard of Hearing had been closed down. I didn't come to see reunion but my sister did.

Hi, Sorry to hear of Garath's death, I remenbered Garath with his twin brother, who use to stay at Birkdale for the weekends, along with me and and Linda Wilkinson and sometimes Geoffrey Lamb (I think!) My thoughs are with his family at their sad loss.

The school reunion has been a fabulous time but I didn't go to the Portland hotel though. I went to the other one which is in Birkdale near the train station. The photos are in my facebook gallery. So if you want to add me, type in my full name and you will see it. Love Clare x

I was deeply shocked to hear about Gareth as I remember the twins so well.
Please to be in touch with Barbara Thornton (nee Evans), Barry Miller and Mike Fahey.

I left Southport when I was 13/14 to live in London due to my father's job have been back to southport a few times and the last time I was up I saw Barry and David, I hope to come to Southport one day as my sister still lives there.
If anyone remembers me I would love to hear from them too. The teachers I remember are Mrs Goodall, Mr Henderson and Mr Birkby also Mr and Mrs Furness, Miss Clarke (at Parkfield)

Totally shocked to hear of Gareth's death.. It comes at a time when I have been looking to get in touch with old friends, and shows you should not think too much about getting in touch, just do it!
Gareth was a friend from my year (1974)and was a good lad, my condolencies to Gareths family, Mervyn, Bryn and all the Williams family at this sad time
