Dear everyone who attended the Old Pupils' Reunion on
Saturday 15 May.
Thank you all very much for giving me the best Birthday
Party I have ever had. Loads of cards, donations and presents, fantastic bouquet
of flowers for my wife, a fabulous cake, a portrait of myself and my wife done
from a previous photograph, an unbelievable value in vouchers, and then all you
old pupils, going back to 1949 and up to the time I retired, who have helped to
make my 80 years so happy.
I will never be intoxicated by my orange juice
and lemonade, but your kind thoughts, words and expressions of love left me
completely intoxicated on Saturday night and Sunday morning.
